La Bastide De Mougins, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Tranquil setting with lush greenery is wonderful.

We encountered a frustratingly late check-in, and the restaurant was closed for two days due to a holiday, absurd for a hotel. On our last day, I attempted to book a table, only to be told it was fully booked, yet I later noticed there were only two tables reserved. The arrogance of some staff members about reservations was infuriating.

Everything was simply fine. My room included a flat-screen TV with cable channels, central heating, and an individual safe. The views of the garden and pool were nice.

I enjoyed staying here. Good value, room was beautifully maintained, staff were really good. Booked a room with a garden view. The location was fab, fine in the garden, in the beautiful area. Easily reached Le Manoir de L'etang, located a 10-15 minute walking distance from the hotel, had lunch/dinner there👍

The Hotel de Mougins offers beautiful gardens that immediately capture your attention. The pool area is a perfect spot to relax. I enjoyed the charming ambiance throughout the hotel. The breakfast featured fresh pastries, but I found it a bit pricey at €20 for what was offered. Coffee from a machine felt underwhelming for that price. My room was spacious and comfortable, definitely a highlight. The air conditioning didn't work properly , which affected my comfort during the nights. I noticed that the towels weren't replaced promptly after I left them on the floor. I appreciated the friendly atmosphere but felt that some aspects could use a bit of attention to detail.

The staff are really good and the room is beautifully maintained with balcony. The service is good, includes overnight parking. Moreover, guests can use parking on site. The restaurant serves amazing French food.

A hidden gem near Cannes

The Hotel de Mougins is a charming oasis with fine gardens and a lovely pool area. The staff were consistently friendly, and breakfast offered a good variety, including fresh pastries. Waking up to the serene ambiance and beautiful views was a highlight of our stay.

The dinner was excellent! We were really satisfied. Although there were some problems in the room such that the fridge was not working and the bath's plag could not be closed properly, they were fixed quickly.

The breakfast was not impressive for 20 Euros.

Hotel de Mougins was super, a great choice for easy access to Cannes and the area by car and the wonderful village and culinary delights of Mougins, which is not to be missed. The hotel reception will recommend and book restaurants for you. Facilities, food and service in the hotel were also excellent. It's a very relaxing alternative to the centre of Cannes with nice pool and gardens.

After visiting the area previously, this hotel was great with fine gardens and a relaxing pool area. The spacious rooms made my long journey much more enjoyable.

The Hotel is set in beautiful grounds with five small buildings that look like picturesque French villa/houses that all have gorgeous bedrooms to stay in. The pool and pool bar are stunning and the restaurant has excellent food. The staff are so helpful it would be hard to say what we liked best ....... everything !

Very high prices in restaurant which were out of keeping with rest of Mougins, e.g. 22 euros p. person for coffee and a basket of pastries is a little excessive for breakfast.
